Mary Ellen Memorial and Ceremonial Jewellery
1. About Our Service
At Mary Ellen Memorial and Ceremonial Jewellery, every piece is created with
care, respect and attention to detail. Our jewellery is personalised and often contains
precious memorial elements, making each item unique and bespoke to the customer.
By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read and accepted these
Terms and Conditions.
2. Orders and Deposits
All orders require a 50% deposit before work begins.
The initial deposit is non-refundable, as it covers preparation, materials, design time
and the commencement of your personalised piece.
Work will not begin until the required deposit has been received and all necessary
information, including memorial materials where applicable, has been provided.
The remaining balance must be paid in full before your completed item is dispatched.
3. Bespoke and Personalised Items
Due to the personalised nature of our jewellery, items are made specifically for each
customer and cannot be resold.
For this reason, we do not offer refunds or returns if you simply change your
mind, select the wrong design, size, colour or no longer wish to proceed after work
has commenced.
We strongly encourage customers to carefully check all details provided before
production begins.
4. Memorial Materials
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any ashes, hair, fur, fabric, breast milk or
other memorial materials supplied are correctly packaged and labelled.
We treat all memorial materials with the utmost respect and care. Any unused
material will be returned where possible unless otherwise requested.
5. Turnaround Times
Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the piece, the number of
orders being processed and any additional services requested.
Estimated times provided are a guide only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
We will keep customers updated where possible should there be any significant
delays.
6. Repairs and Cleaning Services
We offer repair and cleaning services for jewellery items.
Turnaround times for repairs and cleaning depend on the nature and complexity of
the work required.
Customers must provide accurate details of any damage or issues before sending
items to us.
7. Faulty or Damaged Items
We take great care in creating every piece. However, if your item arrives faulty due to
workmanship, please contact us as soon as possible.
Faulty items may be returned for inspection and, where appropriate, repaired or
replaced.
This does not include damage caused by accidental misuse, neglect, wear and tear, or
changes of mind.
8. Delivery and Insurance
All completed items are sent using a tracked and insured delivery service.
We have never had an item lost in transit, and all items are sent using secure postage
methods.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery details provided are correct.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure all information supplied, including spelling, personalisation
details, sizes and design choices, is correct before approval.
Mary Ellen Cremation Jewellery cannot be held responsible for errors caused by
incorrect information supplied by the customer.
10. Privacy
Customer information is handled securely and only used for the purpose of
processing orders, providing services and communicating with customers in relation
to their purchase.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.
